On the first Thursday of the month the Tucson Museum of Art and Historic Block offers extended hours and pay-what-you-wish admission from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. On November’s First Thursday explore the ways artists use various materials to create throughout the museum’s galleries. Discover the new feature exhibition More Than: Expanding Artist Identities from the American West and build connections to other artworks on view.
At 5:30 p.m. join AZ Biennial 2023 juror Taína Caragol and curators of contemporary from Arizona in conversation as they discuss what they look for in contemporary art and what emerging trends. Registration is required.
The evening will feature art and gallery activities, led by Ami Dalal and Laila Halaby, live music by Laura Jean, and a cash bar serving beer and wine
First Thursday is presented by an anonymous donor.

The last Sunday of the month Saint Charles Tavern hosts a singer/songwriter showcase. It's free, it's a pot luck, it's a family meal, it's a fun time! Come on down, bring a dish to share, grab a beer, and enjoy some songs in South Tucson's only bar.
